Comment: Hi David. I had the privillege to work with you in 2002-4 at Sutton & East Surrey Water. During that time you helped me realise I had untapped qualities and was stagnating in my job and so I embarked on a foundation degree course in Natural Sciences. It made me see the world from an entirely fresh perspective, from the substance of molecules to the infinate universe. I'm working for Thames Water now, managing two large sites in south London. You helped me achieve that goal! Many, many thanks. |

Comment: Hi David: I am a retired engineer with extensive experience in design, construction and operation of chemical plants. As a process design engineer, I was familiar with Bailey Controls. You appear to be as frustrated as I am about the quantity of misleading information out there about renewable energies and, in fact, about all forms of energy. That’s why I wrote the DVD titled Nobody’s Fuel. I am sure you would enjoy, appreciate and relate to its message. Take a look at www.nobodysfuel.com under Testimonials to see some of the comments from people who have viewed the DVD. They are positive. |

They simply balance the likelihood of a crash and how much they (or more likely their insurers) will have to pay out against the cost of grounding the plane and re engineering the system. I say re engineering because simply replacing a part with another with the same design defect is not going to solve the problem. Readers may recall the Ford Motor company doing a similar calculation. |

Processing delay, overloaded Multiplex (too many channels for the bandwidth) & so power hungry that battery operation is virtually impossible. Without the benefit of satellite reception (ie direct "off air") the DAB quality is markedly inferior to FM, due to Multiplex overloading initiated by the bean counters. National coverage is only flaky, at best; which is perhaps our best practical hope for the future. |
